On summer Sunday afternoons I love to go for lunch at my parents house with the whole family for good times and great eats in the backyard. My dad is the king of the Q and has taught me well! Since the weather is getting warmer I think it’s time to share some of his fabulous grilling secrets. Today, it’s all about his chicken wings and these are my favourite!
3 Lbs Large Whole Chicken Wings
Dried Basil
Dried thyme
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of All Spice
Cayenne and Habanero Pepper powder – amount to your preference
Salt and Pepper
Method:
- Preheat your BBQ to 350 degrees (medium heat)
- Mix all the spices together to create a rub. Toss the wings in the rub to coat them.
- Grill the wings on the top rack for 30 – 40 min and serve hot off the Q with a Shaved Brussel Sprouts, Endive and Apple Salad or fresh grilled veggies for a delicious summer meal!
